At the Global Fishery Forum in St. Petersburg, the Federal Agency for Fishery plans to hold a broad discussion of the concept for the Strategy for the Development of the Fishing Industry in Russia until 2030.
St. Petersburg’s Lenexpo Exhibition Complex will be the site for the Global Fishery Forum and Exhibition for Fishery, Seafood, and Knowhow on September 14-16. The event’s organizing committee told Fishnews that Russia will host professionals from the global fish industry and related industries for the first time.
International organizations, delegations, and enterprises from major fishing countries of Europe, Asia, Africa as well as North and South America have been invited to take part in the exhibition and forum. Federal Agency for Fishery Deputy Director PyotrSavchuk said the fishing forum will provide a good opportunity to voice industry problems at the international level, talk about trends on the global fish market, and develop cooperation.
