The Global Fishery Forum and Seafood Expo will be a key trade event in Russia, bringing together industry leaders, government officials and the general public. The Global Fishery Forum’s three-day exhibition and congress programmes will take place at the Lenexpo Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg.
Industry representatives from all over Russia will gather at the event. International participants will play a special role: delegations from Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America have been invited.
More than 200 Russian and international companies are expected to exhibit their products, advanced technology and overall achievements, while the Forum’s business programme will include fishery officials from Norway, Faroe Islands, Cyprus, Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau, Cambodia and elsewhere.
The main components of the business programme include:
- a plenary session attended by Federal Agency for Fishery Head Ilya Shestakov
- a conference attended by representatives of the government as well as the Russian and global business communities
- panel sessions attended by foreign politicians from Norway, the United States, Peru, and China
- presentations by leading companies
- business meetings
